Description Alex Kent Hajnal 2023-05-10 11:14:24 UTC
Description:
When typing the ± character LibreOffice changes it to -. This occurs throughout LibreOffice including Calc, Writer, and dialogs. Pasting the ± characters works fine though.

Only ± is showing this issue. Other composed characters (e.g. ∓ → Ö ⌀ µ Ω) work fine.

I'm using Xkb (standard X11 character compose) to enter ± as <Compose><+><->.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type the ± character anywhere that text can be entered.

Actual Results:
The - character is entered.

Expected Results:
The ± character should be entered.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I tried deselecting `Tools → Autocorrect Options → Options → Replace dashes` but it made no difference.

Please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode
Comment 2 Alex Kent Hajnal 2023-05-10 15:43:07 UTC
OK, that's weird. Restarting in safe mode fixed the issue both in safe mode *and* when run normally. No configuration changes were made.

Close the bug I guess?
