Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Database -> Table in Design view  
2.Click Add row between fields that already exist  
3.nothing happen or no row was add 

Actual Results:
Row shown or added to last of fields in table . 

Expected Results:
One row added in the place as expected.

I tested by creating a new database file (Firebird), in Tables view, clicking Create Table in Design View. Inserted

aa
bb

Then right-clicked the row indicator to the left of bb and selected Insert Rows. It inserted a row between aa and bb.

I don't understand what problem you are seeing. Can you check again and/or elaborate.

Picture of insert new row in table design

It base on my experience in Microsoft Access. New rows can be inserted into any location of table,include specific rows and fields.

Yes, it seems after you create the table and then edit it later, the rows are always inserted at the end.

Already seen in oldest of 5.2 Linux bibisect repo.
