I am requesting that Libreoffice have the the ability to export in .ics format for uploading to ical. Just noting this was originally requested on Ask.LO: https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/request-for-exporting-calc-spreads-in-ical-format/94932 But it has been a topic previously, which I've linked in the URL field: https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/libreoffice-calc-how-to-export-spreadsheet-into-icalendar-format-ics-file/33065 I think the issue here is that it is not straight-forward to know how the user has structured the information in their spreadsheet to then export that into an ICS file... I assume it would have to be a guided process, asking the user which column goes where (start date-time, end date-time, description of event...). Although I appreciate the thought of supporting more open formats, I can only imagine this being done as an extension, really. Could you please share an example file that you would like to export as ICS? |
