Screenshots taken with whatever program on KDE (Manjaro; up to date and using LO still) aren't inserted into a cell of a table in Writer but above the table. The user then has to adjust the size, cut and paste himself.


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Take screenshot and put it into clipboard
2. Press Cntrl V to insert into table in Writer with Cursor inside of Cell


Actual Results:
Picture gets inserted ABOVE the table and not into the cell with the cursor

Expected Results:
Picture should end up inside of the cell with the cursor and size should be automagically be adjusted

I followed your steps and the picture ended above the paragraph sign inside the cell as long as I use the default mode for the picture.
You could change it with a right click on the image and choose the properties dialog. Change the 'anchor' to 'as character. The image will be adapted to the table cell then.
