Description amramsay2 2023-09-04 11:22:51 UTC
Description:
If an entire sheet is selected, e.g. by clicking the top-left cell between column and row names, and then either/or horizontal / vertical alignments are set, e.g. to center all text in a cell, the only cells to receive the setting are those with text already present. So, if text is added, subsequently, to a cell that was previously set when empty, the layout is unformatted. The same is NOT true if setting, e.g., a font, or cell dimensions; those settings is correctly retained for all subsequent cells, even if empty at the time of setting.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter text in cell A1 (it is unformatted)
2. select cell top-left between row/column names, to select all cells in sheet.
3. set alignment, using button bar, to center horizontally and/or vertically
4. enter text in cell A2

Actual Results:
The text in cell A1 is centered according to the settings made in step 3 above.
The text in cell A2 remains uncentered after step 4 above.

Expected Results:
After step 4 the text entered in cell A2 should be aligned the same as the text in cell A1.

Reproducible: Always
