Description Mike Kaganski 2023-09-11 08:46:09 UTC
Inserting Tables help section [1] has a Windows-specific part:

> DDE link (only under Windows)
> Table structure and contents, without formatting. With updating

[1] https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/swriter/guide/table_insert.html?DbPAR=WRITER

It is wrong that it is specific to Windows. It works on any platform; copying a part of table from a saved Calc sheet, in Writer, both Paste Special dialog, and the Paste toolbar button's drop-down list contain the DDE item.
