Description Duns 2024-01-11 15:47:24 UTC
I noticed that
1) activating "outline folding" (options - > LibreOffice Writer -> view),
2) when I use some shortcuts (like for Style -> Paragraph - > Block quotation) the cursor goes unexpectedly to the next up heading (title, such as "Heading 2"), instead to remain in the paragraph where the style should be applied.

Can't confirm this with

Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 40617d867346956588ac023511f31210107217f4
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: CL threaded

Culd you please add a sample document, as this makes as easier for us to reproduce the bug. Thank you.

if you open this file, and you try to apply the Block quotation style to a paragraph (I use ctrl+q shortcut), the style will be applied to the desired paragraph, but immediately the cursor will go to the header above (that paragraph).
Provided that you have outline folding activated, of course.

Thank you for the report.

Reproduced in:

Version: 7.6.4.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: e19e193f88cd6c0525a17fb7a176ed8e6a3e2aa1
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

No jump to heading without Outline Folding. Jumps to beginning of heading when it's on.

However, fixed in:

Version: 24.2.0.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: b1fd3a6f0759c6f806568e15c957f97194bbec8f
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Turns out it was already tracked in bug 154701, marking as duplicate.
