Sorry, but I can't follow these steps. Attachment 174322 [details] from bug 143453 is an empty document with no direct formatting (expected). As far as I can see, this document provides the result from the steps of bug 143453.

Tyler, cpould you please explain your steps? Plwase also try to reproduce with master or with LO 24.2.2.
