Thanks for the suggestion. The sidebar and the toolbar should already offer most of the necessary functions, applied directly, but I understand the appeal. UX/Design team, what do you think? The Apply function would be added next to Reset on the bottom bar. Like it is implemented for the Format > Page Style dialog. We discussed the topic in the design meeting. Consistency is prime, and Apply is available on styles only but not for direct formatting (eg Paragraph/Character properties). Plus, the table properties dialog offers not so many attributes that it requires iterative adjustments. Issues are rather caused by a clumsy layout that needs to be improved. And we have some tickets on this topic. |
