When custom bullet points are used in a document, those bullets should be selectable from the bullets dropdown for easy reuse.

Something similiar is already available in the color picker (colors used in document are shown as a separate palette).

A new section should be added to the bullets dropdown where the bullets used in the current document are shown.

Samuel Mehrbrodt committed a patch related to this issue.
It has been pushed to "master":

It will be available in 24.8.0.

The patch should be included in the daily builds available at
https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. More

Affected users are encouraged to test the fix and report feedback.

Attempting to verify the fix, I tried:

1. Create bullet list
2. right-click > List > Bullets and Numbering... > Customize tab > Character: Select... > pick a different character > OK
3. Create a separate list
4. Open dropdown in toolbar or sidebar

Result: crash
