I can reproduce this here too. I can also see two segfaults (one related to jvm) when starting Draw/Impress with LT enabled This is Draw and Impress bug. I test OOo OOo-dev300m85 Win32 with LanguageTool 1.1 and OOo3.3.0m3 Linux with LanguageTool 1.1. I try deinstall JRE and run OOo. Writer and Calc work fine. Draw and Impress display error "OOo requires JRE to perfom this task". Petr, any idea for this one? Yes, we do not longer bundle the LanguageTool extension in the official LibreOffice build. People still could download it from the OOo site. Well, I am not sure if the problem is on the LanguageTool or on the LibreOffice side. So, I would prefer to keep it open. It seems to me that a large part of the problem is in OOo, namely the place where getLocales() is called. I tested with OOo but this problem seems to span different versions already so that shouldn't make a difference. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Created attachment 40970 [details] backtrace When LT 1.0 or LT 1.1 is installed (as bundled or as user - no matter), Draw (or Impress) hang for a few seconds when loaded. To reproduce: close LibO completely, open Draw and try to click menu File, Edit, View , Window etc immediately after they appear. Up to 10 seconds on my machine, they are not responding. Calc, Math, Writer - OK. Only Draw and Impress. OOo - the same as LibO. Backtrace attached. On Windows XP, people say, all is OK. My system is Ubuntu 10.04 + JRE6u20. When LT uninstalled or turned off - menu can be opened immediately after loading without delays.
