While installing LibO_3.3.0rc2_Linux_x86-64_install-deb_en-US.tar.gz, some errors were displayed in Terminal (French language environment):

1 - Dépaquetage de la mise à jour de libobasis3.3-en-us-help ... 
dpkg : erreur de traitement de libobasis3.3-en-us-help_3.3.0-18_amd64.deb (--install) : 
 tentative de remplacement de « /opt/libreoffice/basis3.3/help/en/smath.jar », qui appartient aussi au paquet libobasis3.3-en-us-math 3.3.0-17 
dpkg-deb: sous-processus coller tué par le signal (Relais brisé (pipe)) 

2 - Dépaquetage de la mise à jour de libreoffice3 ... 
dpkg : erreur de traitement de libreoffice3_3.3.0-18_amd64.deb (--install) : 
 tentative de remplacement de « /opt/libreoffice/CREDITS.odt », qui appartient aussi au paquet libobasis3.3-core01 3.3.0-17 
dpkg-deb: sous-processus coller tué par le signal (Relais brisé (pipe))

3 - Des erreurs ont été rencontrées pendant l'exécution : 
 libobasis3.3-core01_3.3.0-18_amd64.deb 
 libobasis3.3-en-us-help_3.3.0-18_amd64.deb 
 libreoffice3_3.3.0-18_amd64.deb 

4 - Traitement des actions différées (« triggers ») pour « shared-mime-info »...

Unknown media type in type 'uri/mms' 
Unknown media type in type 'uri/mmst' 
Unknown media type in type 'uri/mmsu'

Unknown media type in type 'interface/x-winamp-skin'  

Despite this, LO RC2 seems to work fine so far. Will report any new issue potentially connected to corrupted install.

This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
