On opening Help from the menu or pressing F1, 
Writer crashes with and without any open document.  
Calc (Spreadsheet) crashes on pressing F1
Database crashes on pressing F1
Formula crashes on pressing F1 
Impress and Draw open Help window normally.

Can somebody else reproduce it? I didn't see the problem on 3.3 RC2 on SLED 11 sp1.

Peace!
After installing LibreOffice in Ubuntu 10.10 directly from the ppa, the bug disappeared.
The bug was present in Ubuntu 10.10 after installing from the debian package
