Thanks Rainer Bielefeld
I made screenshots so you can see/or not see that the insertion point is invisible when at the beginning of a text line. Open office does not use such a thin line for the insertion point. So making the line thicker will solve the problem.
I hope this helps to clarify the case.
Can't reproduce this on windows or linux, on both I see a blinking cursor which is visibly thicker than the margin. On linux I have both libreoffice rc4 and openoffice rc9 side by side and I don't see any difference :-/ tor, any windows... wisdom ok, classic theme makes the difference, -> tml for a deeper look (In reply to comment #4) > ok, classic theme makes the difference, -> tml for a deeper look If the theme is to blame it was not the case in OOo 3.2.1 and any previous version. If something could be done in future it would be awesome. Fundi Ps Thanks for the 3.3 relaease all who have helped. Super and congratulatons. not reproducible with LO 4.0.2.2 (Win7 Home, 64bit) Does this issue still persist for you with the latest release of LO? Not reproducible on 4.1.1 final release under Win7 64bit, and I was using Classic theme (see how to enable here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38175) Since other users do not confirm this anymore I'm marking this as RESOLVED WORKSFORME. Feel free to reopen if you still see it on recent LibO releases. |
