LibreOffice Writer - inadequate height in menubar and toolbars

Menubar and toolbars have a big spacing over and under texts and icons (inadequate height).
This problem arises only with LibO (MS Windows XP SP3), not Go-OO nor OO.o.
If I uninstall LibO and install Go-OO, the problem is not present in Go-OO; if I install LibO again, the problem goes back :-/

I think that it happens only with this non standard Windows theme that you use.

Maybe you are right, but:
* This problem only arises with LibO, not with other software - and I have many.
* This problem does not arise with the last version of Go-OO or the new version of OO.O, so it is clearly a regression from LibO.

@Jean-Philippe
Same problem in OOo 3.3

Try switching to Windows XP standard theme, and than switching back to your custom theme. It seems strange, but an Italian OOo newsgroup user claim that this operation has fixed a similar problem.

Thanks a lot. I had just tested with OO.o 3.2.

If I switch back to Windows XP standard theme, the problem disappears.
If I switch again to my custom theme, the problem reappears :-/
I will try to investigate this problem to see if I can find which theme's parameter is misinterpreted by LibO.
