Description Claudio Romeo 2011-01-31 23:54:43 UTC
The actual Italian translation of the new funcion "Title page" is "Pagina sommario". But "Sommario" refers to the TOC (Table Of Content), that is a function completely different. The correct translation is "Frontespizio", meaning the first page of a book, the one with the title of the book on it.
The related command should be named "Frontespizio".

Valter Mura (leader of Italian language team) has been notified.
Comment 2 Valter Mura 2011-02-01 10:29:44 UTC
This translation has been inherited by previous ones.

As it is based on OpenOffice.org, this issue needs to be addressed to the OpenOffice.org Italian Localization Team, which I'm part of.

We will discuss on this issue, trying to check it.

Regards,
Valter

Now you can fix it at https://translations.documentfoundation.org/it/libo34x_ui/sw/source/ui/misc.po/translate/ if you want...

Sure. But I accessed the page, I created my own account, I logged in, and still I see no Suggest or Submit option. What's wrong?

This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:

Comment 6 Andrea Pescetti 2011-12-26 07:49:45 UTC
Fixed in Pootle by changing (as suggestions) the following strings for the 3.5 translation round:

titlepage.src#DLG_TITLEPAGE.FL_MAKEINSERT.fixedline.text
titlepage.src#DLG_TITLEPAGE.RB_USE_EXISTING_PAGES.radiobutton.text
titlepage.src#DLG_TITLEPAGE.RB_INSERT_NEW_PAGES.radiobutton.text
titlepage.src#DLG_TITLEPAGE.FT_PAGE_COUNT.fixedtext.text
titlepage.src#DLG_TITLEPAGE.FT_PAGE_START.fixedtext.text
titlepage.src#DLG_TITLEPAGE.CB_RESTART_NUMBERING.checkbox.text
titlepage.src#DLG_TITLEPAGE.CB_SET_PAGE_NUMBER.checkbox.text
titlepage.src#DLG_TITLEPAGE.modaldialog.text

Will apply the same fix to OpenOffice.org too, if applicable, to keep terminology consistent.
