This report is a spin off from 
Bug 32877 - Some graphical objects not displayed in Impress
There the main problem is that one of the replacement objects will be shown as an empty rectangle without any contents. You see the problem when you try to open attached Obj100.wmf (I added file name extension) with LibO

Added rodo@novell.com because hie is involved in other WMF problem.

works now in 3.3.2; see fix in bug 33785
