That is annoying. I wonder what hook is getting triggered there. Is there any chance you can get a gdb stacktrace of the process at the point that it is showing that dialog ? :-) It's hard to see why we'd want a JRE to switch to and from the desktop - looks like some low-level hook that we don't want on mac.
