This is not a help forum. I know it isn't. In fact, I opened this as an Enhancement request. If you feel it is not correct, than please tell me where should I open this kind of bug. I accept criticism, but I prefer a constructive criticism, not just for the sake of critisize. Regards, Witold If requests for enhancements are not welcome then please tell me, so I won't submit anything else if it doesn't make sense. Sure, requests for enhancements are welcome, but in a bug report an enhancement request should be somewhat more specific. What do you mean with "true" installer? Do you know that the executable "installer" is just a wrapper around a Windows Installer -based installer (inside the unpacked directory)? Feel free to reopen this bug report and ask for a specific thing, like that the directory containing the unpacked Windows Installer installer files should be deleted after the installation is finished. (That would be desirable in general, I agree.) Change the title then, too. The LO installer unpacks windows installer files and never deletes them, which would be desirable since they're not necessary after the install and take quite a lot of space. Also, by default the installer files are unpacked to user's desktop, which shouldn't be treated as a temp folder. @Tor: Thanks for the help with this bug and yes, I know this installer is a wrapper for msi installers. |
