Calc is not able to calculate with fractions, but all calculation are done in internal format "double". 'Fraction' is only a way to display the number. Calc takes the fraction which has the specified denominator and is nearest to the decimal value. In your case you have to use a fraction with more figures in the denominator. You can set up to three figures in the format. Use a question mark for each figure. As Regina said, choose or define a fraction format with more digits in the denominator. Not a bug, closing. This is a Calc issue, therefore changed 'Component' accordingly. I did a check book/bill pay spreadsheet in Libre Office. Worked well until about four months ago. Then I lost two months of spreadsheets. Started another, turned off Windows updates and seemed to work well for another two months. Then the latest update for Libre Office came out. After downloading I noticed the amounts are not adding/subtracting correctly. There is no negative sign when switching from positive to negative amounts. IE - (25.00). This is a pain so please let me know if this is going to be fixed. |
