[This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html I have the same problem (feature request to be correct) with Libre Office 3.5.2. But I can't compare it with MS Office, just with gnuplot... Example: I need to plot XY Scatter (points and lines chart) and I have the following dataset: X Y 10 y1 20 y2 30 y3 ... ... 6980 y698 6990 y699 7000 y700 And I need LogX - Y chart. When I make a chart I, of course, need something like 10;100;1000; AND 7000 as X-axis labels. But it's totally not possible to configure X axis in such a way:( Please attach a sample document showing several steps of your attempts and describing more exactly shat you need. Currently I even do not understand what table data in Comment 2 should tell. It seem that I can't reproduce this bug anymore. I can set now custom values to x axis. WFM due to comment 4 @reussandras What's your version with what you see everything ok? 3.6.0.4 (Build: 932b512) I remember: my problem was that if I have multiple columns, I was unable to assign a column as data labels for the x axis. Ok, it seems that the problem persists, but I don't remember well anymore the context. Next time, I will prepar and attach a test case, sorry, that was not very professional from my part. @reussandras thank you for additional investigation and for your patience |
