Quite frequently after resuming from suspend while having Loffice open, X will crash and the OS will reset back to the login screen. Where can I start about diagnosing this issue? I have discarded a hardware problem as it happens on my desktop and laptop. On the desktop I tried ATI and Nvidia cards, the problem is still there.

I could get X to crash by doing drag and drop operations in Loffice. Unfortunately I do not have a way to reproduce it...

My distro (sabayon) has an entry on this bug too.

If it is X that is crashing, it is the fault of X, not of LibreOffice, I am sorry.  I am not sure if there are any documents describing how to debug X out there, but hopefully google might be of some help.
