@Alfred Reibenschuh Could you please provide a step by step procedure to reproduce the crash? Thanks. * open new document * open style toolbar * switch to paragraph styles * select hierarchical in filter * right-click on "Heading 1" - select "New.." * select organizer tab * set name: "AltHeading1", next style: "AltHeading1", linked with: "Heading", category: "Custom Styles" * click OK * enter lots of paragraphs (eg. copy-paste a large wikipedia article) * format a couple of paragraphs with style "AltHeading1" * right click on "AltHeading1" in style toolbar - select "Delete.." - confirm office should now crash (in 2 out of 3 tries it does on my system) $ lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 10.10 Release: 10.10 Codename: maverick $ uname -a Linux tzlatl 2.6.35-28-generic #50-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 18 19:00:26 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux $ java -version java version "1.6.0_20" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.9.7) (6b20-1.9.7-0ubuntu1) OpenJDK Server VM (build 19.0-b09, mixed mode) $ dpkg -s libreoffice ... Architecture: i386 Version: 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2~maverick1 ... I'm not able to reproduce the crash under Windows. Perhaps Linux specific? A sample document that crash on your system may be useful. since i have reconfigured the heading/outline handling via "Tools->Outline Numbering" i am unable to reproduce the crash. even moving ".libreoffice" out of the way does not help. could this be related to the way libreoffice is packed on ubuntu 10.10 via ppa? i am on the way to 11.04 so if nobody crashes doing the above steps lets close the bug. Hi, I tested this bug on my computer and I cannot reproduce the bug as described (tried it three times). There is no crash here. @Alfred: closing this bug? Tested LibreOffice 3.3.2 PPA on Ubuntu 10.10/Gnome 32-Bit Intel Referring to commments 4,5 and 6, I close this bug. @Alfred: If you can still reproduce the crash, please feel free to reopen the bug. Thanks. |
