Created attachment 50802 [details] spreadsheet with test case reproducing bug 36732 The attached spreadsheet (Libreoffice 3.4.2) reproduces this bug (or a closely-related variant). The steps to create it are included as a macro. They are as follows: 1) Create new spreadsheet. 2) Add data to many rows, for example cells a1:a1000. 3) Insert comment to cell a1000. 4) Select entire spreadsheet and change the typeface (in this case to Courier New 8pt). 5) Double-click any row boundary to resize all rows to optimal height. 6) Hover the mouse cursor over cell a1000, and observe that the comment now appears detached, at some distance from the cell. [This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
