Description bellgardt 2011-05-10 04:35:01 UTC
This bug concerns copying slides in the slide pane. When inserting the previously copied slides an unnecessary "Insert Slides"-Dialog appears in the following case:

After right-clicking with the mouse between two slides a thick line is shown which already uniquely defines the position where the copied slides should be pasted.

This dialog should be only shown when a slide is selected.

I can't confirm described behavior for 3.3.2 or 3.4.
In 3.3 with right click a black line appears, with 3.4 a small black box.
In both versions additionally a small context menu appears to select whether sheet from clipboard or a new sheet should be inserted, that's useful.

I can't see any "dialog".

Sorry, I didn't write it clear enough. The dialog comes after you select "paste". Then you have to choose "before" or "after" which doesn't make sense if actual position is between two slides.

I stopped 1 step before I could have seen the problem.

Indeed, that has been some inconsistency, but it's no longer visible with "LibreOffice 3.4Beta4 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [DEV300m103 (Build:4)]", seems to have been fixed "somewhere".

@reporter:
Please feel free to reopen this bug if you find out that the problem still exists with 3.4release or later.
