Description Andreas Mantke 2011-05-15 02:17:53 UTC
I installed vanilla-Beta5 (x64) on my openSUSE 11-3-x64 with rpm -Uvh over Beta4 and the desktop-integration is gone for the KDE-Menu (I use the old style menu). I hope this is an easy to fix bug, because this is broken during Beta4 and Beta5. Maybe there were some icons replaced or not delivered with the rpm.
I did a restart of my system and the desktop, but that didn't changed anything.

Andreas, do you miss just the icons or the complete desktop menu entries (text)?

It might be related to the bug #37160.
Comment 2 Andreas Mantke 2011-05-16 11:14:27 UTC
Petr, currently I miss only the icons in the menu, because I installed a OOo-DeV-package in parallel some times ago (and this not uninstalled yet). I see old styled icons for the file types related to ODF, Doc etc.
Thus I think, I miss more than the icons in the KDE-Menu.

The desktop menu icons have been fixed, so lets' mark this bug as a dupplicate of the bug #37160.

The MIME icon names are correct in the /opt/kde3/share/mimelnk/application/libreoffice3.4-*.desktop, so there should not be any new problem. If you have any troubles with the MIME type icons, please open separate bug.
