Hmm ,I see it in "Tools/Minimize Presentation" SLES10-SP3-i586 with LO-3.4.0-rc2.
Could you please try the following test?
1. remove the package libobasis3.4-extension-presentation-minimizer
2. restart LO and check that the extension disappeared from the
Extensions manager
3. Install the package again
4. restart LO and try if it works or not
If it does not appear in the step 2., there might be some problem with user configuration in ~/.libreoffice/3.
It would be interesting to know if it helps to start LO with fresh user configuration"
1. quit LO
2. rename ~/.libreoffice/3
3. start LO again
If nothing helps, please try to attach strace log, see

Dear Petr, thank you very much for your help! It works now. Apparently, I messed up my installation by trying to solve bug 37320. What did I do? Now, I removed the entire LibreOffice 3.4rc2 packages via the package manager. Then, I manually deleted /opt/LibreOffice* and finally reinstalled LibreOffice 3.4rc2. Now, I finally have the entry "Extras" (Tools) -> "Präsentation komprimieren" (minimize presentation) Thanks! I close this bug as Resolved->Invalid. RC2 is bit by bit identical with release version, so separate items in the version picker are useless. Changes have been discussed with Michael Meeks. RESOLVED, FIXED or CLOSED bugs cant be KEYWORD NEEDINFO. |
