Description Artem S. Tashkinov 2011-06-07 16:55:47 UTC
Rendering of the attached MS Word document is broken.
Comment 1 Artem S. Tashkinov 2011-06-07 16:58:56 UTC
FreeDesktop's bugzilla doesn't want to accept files larger than 1MB, so I'm uploading a sample to MediaFire.

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1

Comment 3 Artem S. Tashkinov 2011-12-27 07:39:04 UTC
The issue persists in LibreOffice 3.5 beta2.
Comment 4 Artem S. Tashkinov 2012-03-12 16:25:42 UTC
Should I close this bug report? The reported file has never been downloaded by anyone, so I guess no one cares.
Comment 5 Korrawit Pruegsanusak 2012-03-30 05:13:52 UTC
[REPRODUCIBLE] with the file in URL field, looks bad since 3.3.3 => set version accordingly. The version field should be the *earliest* version reproducible.
Comment 6 Artem S. Tashkinov 2012-07-14 23:16:36 UTC
LibreOffice 3.6 - without changes, still broken.
Comment 7 Artem S. Tashkinov 2013-01-24 18:53:36 UTC
Still totally broken as for LO 4.0.0 rc2.
Comment 8 Linus Drumbler 2013-01-25 00:44:40 UTC
If you provide a link to where you uploaded the document on MediaFire, I'd be happy to take a look.
Comment 9 Urmas 2013-01-25 08:08:47 UTC
If you would replace photographs with something more sensible, like screen-resolution monochrome JPEG bitmaps, this 2 page document would have attracted more attention.

ejectmail: It's in URL field.

REPRODUCIBLE on Trisquel 5.5 with Linux-libre 3.0.0. The screenshot says all.
Comment 11 Artem S. Tashkinov 2013-04-04 11:32:04 UTC
It's still broken.

LO 4.0.2

I've also uploaded it here http://ompldr.org/iaHpneQ

This website is offline

No cached version is available

Is it possible to attach it to bugzilla? The file size limit is raised to 3MB if I'm right.

Kind regards,
Joren

This looks way better in LibreOffice 4.2.
Can you confirm this is fixed?

Wow, just wow. 4.2 b1 renders it more or less perfectly.
