I can confirm the behavior. [This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html on LibO 3.5.0.beta1 still exist NEW inappropriate due to <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugTriage#Set_Status_.26_Prioritize>, so back to NEEDINFO This is a very strange document far away form LibO build in Styles. For example the paragraphs have a numbering style "WW8Num12" (see mneu 'Rormat -> Paragraph'), but I can't find the style definition in the Styles pane. @sasha Please contribute a step by step instruction how to create a sample document from the scratch with a clean new user profile Sorry, I have forgotten how it is created. IMHO it is created by copy-pasting something from document in another bugreport. By name of style WW8Num12 I determine that it is from document created in msWord. This style contains this inside: text:style-name="Zeichenformat" I can determine that document was in German language. And because we have here no style with name "Zeichenformat" I can guess that it is possible source of problem. We have link to non-existing style in document. Closing as Invalid because no information of how to produce this document available Sorry for I have provided not enough of useful information during creating this bugreport. (In reply to comment #5) Oten it shows up late during bug wrangling that additional info is reauired ... I think your document really shows a bug (incomplete copy/paste of styles or whatever), but unfortunately without detailed knowledge concerning document history it will impossible to find the roots, so I agree with your INVALID decision. |
Created attachment 47979 [details] file that demonstrates Format PaintBrush problem in attachment is document where Format PaintBrush tool behaves strange. I encountered this problem trying to place bullet from one intem of bulleted list to another. Steps to reproduce: 0. Open file from attachment. There is 4 lines, first is ordinary text, second is bulleted list without bullet and last 2 lines are bulleted 1. Place cursor into line B 2. Press Format PaintBrush tool button on standard toolbar 3. Click on line A Expected: bullet like in line B appears Actually: no bullet appears and whole line except one word changes size of font reproduced on LibO 3.4 on Mandriva 64 bit and Windows XP 32 bit Allso: When move format from * to C then bullet remains but indent changes (my be shold be so) When move format from A to B then bullet disappears (as expected)
