Please specify Libreoffice version and the operating system, because I cannot reproduce your bug on Windows/Linux with LibreOffice 3.3.2/3.4. Version confirmed as 3.3.2 on Ubuntu (Natty) Linux. Versions 3.3.3 and 3.4.x not tested. I saw this happens at recover window too: the file with "." at name only appear the part of the name preceding the "." Returning to original post, I think I made a mistake. Let me try a new step-by-step: 1) Open LibreOffice Writer. 2) Save the file like my.completed.file.name (first problem here: at Linux, at least, LibreOffice will not put the file extension) 3) Go to "File -> Save as" again, the name at "Name" space of Save Window will be "my.completed.odt" [This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html needinfo keyword redundant by needinfo status. this was reproducible in LibO 3.3.4 But in LibO 3.6.0 master on Fedora 64 bit not reproducible Change status to WorksForMe Please, change status to Reopened if problem appears again |
