LibreOffice 3.4 340m1(Build:12) on KDE OpenSuse. Cannot reproduce. Followed your steps exactly: 1. Created a new document: Typed several words in it. 2. File > Export to PDF 3. Typed my directory in the bar: \home\Desktop\Folder (Folder is an existing directory) 4. When I press export to PDF, it does not ask if I can overwrite a directory. But since I have specified an existing directory, it takes me to within the directory, where I can see the files already in folder. Until I type a name for my PDF, it does not let me export. Once I enter a name, (Such as File1) the file is properly exported. Perhaps the different results come from the different versions of LO we are using? Can you specify your version? Sorry, I forgot the version. It's 3.3.3 and It's updated here. I do not tested 3.4.0 yet, since there are no official packages for Ubuntu and the .deb files breaks some dependencies here. [This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed.
