And another
Cannot be reproduced on LibreOffice 3.4 340m1(Build:12). Thanks for the screenshots and description. I downloaded your test file and moved it around a little. There is no corruption at all. No objects become gray, discolored, or blank. Perhaps a patch has fixed it for my newer version of LO. Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks. Created attachment 48447 [details]
splash screen with missing redraws
Tried 3.4, and now I am getting issues even with the splashscreen (see attachment). These seem missing redraws too. Also tried downgrading the intel video drivers to the standard ones for my distro, no difference. I wonder what is going on. Libreoffice (and openoffice - tested that too) appear to be fighting hard with my Xorg, and to forget redraws... but any other application is just happy on my system. Puzzling. [This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html Seems to be ok right now. I believe it was not a bug on libreoffice, rather on the linux graphics stack. Please mark as closed. I will open a new bug in case I run into new issues and I can distillate a test case. |
Created attachment 48411 [details] Test file To reproduce: 1) Open presentation 2) Select a few objects including some graphical objects and some textboxes 3) press the up arrow key to move the selected objects up a bit Expected results: - objects move on screen Achieved results - objects move on screen, but get visually corrupted in the process * Objects partially lose their color * Some graphical elements disappear * A gray background appears (see attached files)
