Description Stefan Haas 2011-07-18 06:14:15 UTC
When I move the cell marker with keyboard, Calc 3.3.3 looses the cell marker, if the "AutoRecovery Information"-Saving starts during moving the cell marker (or paste cells into the spreedsheet).
After completion "AutoRecovery Information"-Saving the cell marker (the black Border of the cell) is no longer displayed.
The blue markings on the Column and row headers are still there, but navigating the document is no longer possible.

Same will happen, changing to a Calc-Document during "AutoRecovery Information"-Saving is runnig.

When I changed first to another program (or LO-document) and then back to my "problem document" is possible to continue working as if nothing happened.

Failed to reproduce on LibreOffice 3.4 340m1(Build:103) for OpenSuse Linux. Perhaps it has been fixed in a later version of LO.

THe bug can reproduce also with Calc 3.4.1 (WinXP).
On small documents the time is too short to reproduce the bug.
When I get the bug, I am workung with documents having a lot of registers and cells.
The bug is confirmed by other mebers of the German-Documention-Team. (Working with 3.3.x and 3.4.x Version)

Hello Stefan,

as always it would help very much if you or someone who sees the problem could provide a test document showing this behaviour.
It is extremely difficult to create a test document as long as you haven't seen the issue.

This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
