I don't think that we can easily do this without breaking odf 1.2 compatibility: http://docs.oasis-open.org/office/v1.2/cos01/OpenDocument-v1.2-cos01-part2.html#__RefHeading__1018184_715980110 mentions exactly how DAYS360 has to work and which functions need to be there. Right. Would introducing a new DAYS365 function be a major effort ? Normally, all days calculations are already available in financial functions. there is still the problem that this would be problematic with the standard I'm not quite sure if the standard allows to include not standard functions but even if it does it would result in problems when you open this file with another program or an older version of Libreoffice [This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html Dear bug submitter! Due to the fact, that there are a lot of NEEDINFO bugs with no answer within the last six months, we close all of these bugs. To keep this message short, more infos are available @ https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/NeedinfoClosure#Statement Thanks for understanding and hopefully updating your bug, so that everything is prepared for developers to fix your problem. Yours! Florian Reopening because it looks like RFE May be it is possible to create this functionality on Basic Macro As the previous comment stated, this is a matter of internationally recognized standards which aren't easy to change. I am going to mark this as NOTABUG as it's not our bug but instead a matter of complying with standards. For more information on standards and how they are created, please see this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OASIS_%28organization%29 |
