This bug appears in different ways in all versions since OOO 3.0 too.
1. In a new empty LO Writer document open Menu Input - select header standard.
2. Write text into header like "Header".
3. Write text like "Text" into body.
4. Save document as name.odt
5. CTRL-P, Control check printing preview in Printing Dialog. Text appears as expected.
6. Cancel
7. Activate text "Header". Keep it activated.
8. Repeat step 5: CTRL-P, now instead of the body text the text "Header" appears at this position.

I ran into this problem, when I tried a quick blank of header text for a print-out by changing the header text color to white.

Sorry:
it's not a bug - it's a feature. Selection is automatically activated in printing dialog ( was overseen ).
