if you export a formular containing textfields, datefieds, etc. as PDF, FDF or XML, the entered text is not shown in the right size and not at the top position, as defined. So the textfield seams to be to small, but it isn't. Within OpenOffice.org or LibO you can enter the text in the right way.

Hi,

in the attachment you will find a short example with step by step instructions how we created the document and how we made the export to PDF, FDF or XML.

The user OS is Win 7 and Windows XP with all patches installed. LibreOffice is used in the last stable version.

We tried it on severel systems to find out side effects, but we got the same results.

If you open the PDF document with Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can fill out the formular. But the text is printed and shown as you can see it in the example.
It doesn't matter, if you make the control higher (one line only), the text will appear at the bottumn. I think that you add some additional paragraph setting during the export to PDF and so the text doesn't fit into the fields.

I hope you can help, becaus LibreOffice should be used for more than 4.500 users and for this the XML Formular is one important criteria, so it must work in the correct way ;-)

Thanks
Georg

PDF export

here you find the PDF export of the example. It doesn't matter if you change between XML, HTML, FDF or PDF export...
