As I can see, in this bugreport we need additional functionality: Option or ability to set defaults for newly added or dropped images. (such as anchoring, wrapping) @ Zhehao Mao At this time default wrapping can be changed by changing style of frame "Graphics". Newly inserted pictures will be with different wrap option. Zhehao, Does Sasha's workaround ok for you? I've experienced same thing, tried different anchoring options, it just doesn't behave right. E.g., type a paragraph, insert image, type another paragraph, insert image.... After a round of two of editing often result with inserted images being overlapped on each other. And it becomes difficult to relocate the images back to proper paragraph location. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDINFO status with no change for at least 6 months. Problem description: This is more a general UI problem. Essentially, inserting images into Writer and making sure they are formatted nicely with the surrounding text is much to frustrating for so commonplace a task. When you paste them initially, everything is fine, but adding text before the image, moving the image across page breaks, or rearranging the order in which text and images appear causes the formatting to screw up in many surprising and exasperating ways. It's the worst when you are trying to move across a page break. Some of the ways in which the formatting gets screwed up includes the order of two images being reversed, two images being placed so that they overlap each other, or the image ending up in the wrong position in the text. Most of these issues seem to be caused by the word wrapping. I think they could all be fixed if images were set to No Wrap by default.
