The Splash Screen of LibO must have a "X" shaped close button, to close an accidental launch of the program. I need not wait for the entire program to load and then to close it if i accidentally launched it,

I do not think so.

Do you know any other software with a close button in the splash screen? Please contribute information concerning examples.

Do you really believe that so many users so often open LibO accidently and have not 2 seconds time to wait until the start center will have been opened, so that this "problem2 is it worth to invest developer manpower what so will not be available for other tasks?
