Steps to reproduce with parallel installation of MinGW Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI (Build ID:fba911f-2fcbe65-8b4f344-3bd0388) (daily/Win-x86@7-MinGW/master/2011-11-25_08.14.45)":
0. Download test documents: "test3.docx" from Bug 41466 and
   "SDL and HIPAA.docx"from Bug 34876
1. Launch Writer
2. Menu 'File -> Open -> ...'
   Expected: document will be opened
   Actual: Crash
Comment 1 Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2011-11-27 00:04:31 UTC
Works fine with Server installation of MSVC Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) ENGLISH UI [(Build ID: 4f11d0a-adcf6d5-c4bb9bd)]" Windows_2008R8 - 111118)

Seems that the fix for "Bug 34876 - FILEOPEN: Writer crashes consistently opening attached SDL and HIPAA.docx" did not reach MinGW?

not reproducible with LO 4.0.2.2 (Win7 Home, 64bit)
both mentioned documents are opened without any crash

I would say this issue was resolved in the meantime.
Can anybody confirm this? If yes, then I would propose to close this issue.
