Problem description:
when makeing a table and setting up the field names you are only allowed to write a 10 character name.

Steps to reproduce:
1. make a table in design view
2. write a 11 character name (e.g. Description, Purchase Price)

Current behavior:
will not allow more then 10 characters

Expected behavior:
should allow much more then 25 characters.

Platform
Windows 7

On Debian x86-32 with 3.4.4, I didn't reproduce this pb (I tried with 30 characters).

Just 2 questions :
- was it with a brand new file ? (if not, could you try on a brand new file ?)
- Could you try again with 3.4.4 by deleting (or renaming-saving) your profile, uninstall previous version and Windows registry clean (with free tools like ccleaner) ?

(Perhaps a Windows specific bug ?)

bug fixed in 3.4.4 thank you I did not even know that there was an update available. it sucks coming from Ubuntu and not having updates every day.

I found 1 article about LO 3.4.4 and Ubuntu (there are others) :
http://iloveubuntu.net/libreoffice-344-released

But it's perhaps you don't have the last release of Ubuntu.

Anyway, great it works for you ! :-)
