On my computer, the default font size in menus is very small and hard to read. I would like to specify a larger font size, but without affecting the font size for documents. This appears to be impossible, as I have neither found an option in LO itself, nor a specific key to use in gconf-editor. If I simply choose Tools->Options->LO->View and then scale to 150%, which is appropriate for me, then the documents all look busted.

It is as reporter says, but for me that seems to be no problem at all. When I increase view zoom in 'Tools->Options->LO->View' to maximum and decrease zoom in menu 'Vies -> Zoom' everything looks fine.

This is the Bug tracking system, not a helpdesk! You can get assistance from the public users mailing list users@libreoffice.org, a mailing list from <http://www.documentfoundation.org/contribution/#lists> or
<http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Local_Mailing_Lists>

Please feel free to reopen this Bug if discussion with others leaded to a clear and comprehensible description of the problem.

Then please:
- read hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> carefully
- Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is
(the current text describes a fact, but not a problem)
- Attach a sample document (not only screenshot)
- Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the
problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots
into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show
- Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every
mouse click how to reproduce your problem (and if possible how to created a
  sample document from the scratch)
- add information
  -- what EXACTLY is unexpected
-- and WHY do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!)
-- concerning your PC (video card, ...)
-- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language)
-- concerning your LibO version and localization (UI language)
–- Libo settings that might be related to your problems
    (video hardware acceleration ...)
-- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document
–- If you can contribute an OOo Issue that might be useful
-- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts
