Description Sjano 2011-12-14 09:48:46 UTC
Libreoffice doesn't read ppt and pptx files correctly and shows text outside of the slides.

It also has problems saving files to view on Microsoft office.
Most times Microsoft office can't read text from libreoffice on ppt and pptx files.

Example: www.rent-a-printer.no/sitefiles/24/dokumenter/INVESTERINGISKRIVERE.ppt

Very common problem: on different computers installed different fonts. Therefore size of text differs. On Windows fonts installs with printer drivers, and therefore different for different printers. On Linux font differs from Windows. Usually bigger.

Problem described in another bugreports. If we save in pptx format, msOffice can not open it. LibreOffice still can. Use odp or ppt for saving presentation for msOffice 2007 sp2 (in case of odp, press "Ok" 2 times in msOffice).

With attachment no problem seen.

Checked with:
LO 4.0.2.2
Build ID: own W7 debug build
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit

Could not reproduce. Looks quite the same as in Powerpoint 2010.
