It works for me in LibreOffice 3.4.5 under ubuntu 11.10. I have checked both the version provided by Ubuntu (Oneiric_proposed repository) and the vanilla version. What is also interesting is that the defect is reproducible with LO 3.5.0 rc2+ Cédric: please, could you have a look? Feel free to reassign if you can't handle this bug. Best regards. JBF I believe this one is a DUP of "Bug 38147 - FILESAVE File Sharing Password protected MS Word document no longer editable after reopen" @reporter: Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you find evidence that we have an independent issue here. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 38147 *** |
Created attachment 54502 [details] Broken file The attached file was saved with MS Word from a docx that had an editable form, and the rest of the document had a password for modification. When saving, word protects the entire document instead in the .doc version. When I open the file with libreoffice, I can see it but I cannot edit it, getting only a cryptic non-explanatory message saying "Readonly content cannot be changed. No modifications will be accepted". This happens even if I have the "Edit file" option enabled in the toolbar, there seem to be no enabled security options in the document properties, and I see nowhere the option to edit the file, nor any option to enter the password (although this is a drm-like password, that libreoffice should be able to ignore if the user requires it).
