Attachments: Error to apply Standar Filter

Description Eduardo Moreno 2011-12-27 07:24:49 UTC
Apply Autofilter to a range.
Select Standard filter.
Select a button of filter of other column.
You can't apply the second filter.
Comment 1 Christian Lohmaier 2011-12-28 03:42:28 UTC
can not confirm. (but maybe I also didn't understand it properly).

Here's what I did:
* enter the following table-data:
eins	10
wzo	200
zwo	10
drei	33
eins	111
eins	2310
zwo	233
vie	13
drei	1113

* Select both colums and apply Data|Filter→Autofilter
* click the filter's dropdown on the left column, choose Standardfilter
→ the filter-popup appears, I pick value = "eins" and click OK
→ list is now filtered to only show

eins	10
eins	111
eins	2310

* click the filter's dropdown on the right column
→ opens as expected, uncheck 111 → and the row disappears
→ check 111 again → the row appears again.

So please describe the problem in more detail, as I cannot see a problem here.

Error to apply Standar Filter

In sheet1, If select Standar filtes Date >= 5/1/11 And Date <= 7/1/11, you can't see values.
Comment 3 Eduardo Moreno 2011-12-28 08:20:01 UTC
Thank's. With your exemple work fine. But, if you try with the file attach (Error to apply Standard Filter), apply Standard filter in column A (Date) with the conditions Date >= 5/1/2011 And Date <= 7/1/2011. You can't see data.

NOT Reproducible with reporter's sample Parallel Dev-Installation of "LibreOffice 3.5.0 Beta2- WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [Build-ID : 8589e48-760cc4d-f39cf3d-1b2857e-60db978]

My proceeding:
1. Open sample document from LibO Start Center
2. Click filter button Column A
3. Select 'Standard Filter' by mouse
   > Dialog appears
4. First line: 'Date = 5.01.2011' (German Date, all selected from picker)
5. OK
   > 8 lines remain
6. Click filter button Column A
7. Select 'Standard Filter' by mouse
   > Dialog appears
8. Second line: 'And - Date < 7.01.2011'
9. OK
   > 8 lines remain

@reporter:
May I ask you to read hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> carefully?
Then please:
- Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is
- Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the
problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots
into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show
- Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every
mouse click how to reproduce your problem
- add information
  -- concerning your PC
-- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language)
-- concerning your LibO localization (UI language)
  -- Language localization settings
–- Libo settings that might be related to your problems
-- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document
-- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts

Fixed in LibO 3.5.0 beta2

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 43982 ***
Comment 6 Eduardo Moreno 2011-12-29 07:04:27 UTC
You apply only one condition. When apply 2 or more, not work the filters.
Comment 7 Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2011-12-29 23:22:32 UTC
Reporter contributed some material in Bug 43982 because he believe that THIS bug still is not fixed, I checked again.

a) Comment 6 is WRONG, Eduardo, reading my comment 4 you see that I tested 2
   conditions (steps 4,8)
b) I can reproduce the problem easily with server-Installation of "LibreOffice 3.5.0 Beta1 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [Build-ID: 7362ca8-b5a8e65-af86909-d471f98-61464c4] Windows_Release_Configuration 11-Dec-2011 06:51".

NO LONGER reproducible with parallel installation of MinGW Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0
Beta 1 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI (Build ID:
8935521-b204871-3e50423-4c1bcb5)
(daily/Win-x86@7-MinGW/master/2011-12-13_03.17.52)", filter works fine and

NO LONGER reproducible with Parallel Dev-Installation of "LibreOffice 3.5.0 Beta2-WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [Build-ID :
8589e48-760cc4d-f39cf3d-1b2857e-60db978]

My conclusion:
--------------
Really a DUP

@Eduardo
Are you really sure that you use Beta2 for your tests? Please attach screenshot of Version information from LibO Help.
Comment 8 Eduardo Moreno 2011-12-30 11:06:52 UTC
I'm sorry. With LibO 3.5 Beta 2 work fine.
Windows 7 Pro parallel intalation.
