system dialogs in 3.5.4 on Fedora

Description Robert Großkopf 2011-12-28 00:17:17 UTC
The way other users could change the LO-dialogs to system-dialogs is to use
Tools > Options > LOdev > General.
In all rpm-packages I use (LO 3.3.4, LO 3.5.0 Beta2 and OOo 3.3) there is no possibility to change between system- and LO-dialogs. In LO 3.5.0 Beta2 is only a possibility to use the LO-printing-dialogs. A click on this filed will not make any difference in the LO-printing-dialogs.

Thanks for bugreport
in all mentioned versions changing Filepicker dialog works correctly on Linux and Windows

About printing dialog:
in 3.3.4 option not found
in 3.5.3 option present, but not working yet. IMHO unfinished feature

There is no way to change to system-dialogs. The german help says: For some systems it could be changed. Why not for Linux-rpm?

I have to add the version of LO, where I had made the screenshot:
LibreOffice 3.5.4.2
Build-ID: 165a79a-7059095-e13bb37-fef39a4-9503d18
OpenSuSE 11.4 32bit rpm-System

Seeem to be a littel problem to see for people, who do not use linux-rpm-versions. I do not mean the dialog for printing. The dialogs for opening and saving data are lost in OpenSuSE rpm.

system dialogs in 3.5.4 on Fedora
Comment 8 sasha.libreoffice 2012-06-08 03:19:42 UTC
in rpm no problem. Try to move user profile in another place. It may be corrupted by version 3.4.
Comment 9 Robert Großkopf 2012-06-08 03:37:05 UTC
I have moved the user-profile. LO created a new. No system-dialogs for saving and opening appear. I haven't installed LO 3.4. Only other version on my system is 3.3.4. The user-profile of this version isn't at the same place.
Comment 10 sasha.libreoffice 2012-06-08 03:41:54 UTC
may be OpenSuSE specific? Strange.
Comment 11 Robert Großkopf 2012-06-08 07:49:31 UTC
Isn't a specific SuSE-problem. Now I have tested it on the same pc under KDE 4.6 and Gnome 2. There were no system-dialogs at KDE. With Gnome system-dialogs could be choosen.

Comment 12 Robert Großkopf 2012-06-08 08:09:20 UTC
OpenSuSE 12.1 64 Bit with KDE 4.7.2: system-dialogs could be choosen. Don't know if it is a problem of 32bit-rpm-KDE or a problem of rpm-KDE-4.6.
I have set the importance to lowest - minor.
Comment 13 sasha.libreoffice 2012-06-09 06:21:44 UTC
in my attachment used Fedora 64 bit, KDE 4.6.5
Comment 14 Robert Großkopf 2012-07-15 19:55:17 UTC
Have installed LO 3.6.0 Beta 3. There it works with a system-dialog, where you could not choose any file. Don't know, where LO is searching for such a dialog. Will close this bug-report.
