Description Robert Großkopf 2011-12-28 00:25:08 UTC
Help for Tools > Options > LOdev > General says somthing about "formatting help". Last I saw this was in OOo 3.3 - never in LO.
Same help: Nothing to read about the printing dialog, the double-digit year-dates and the experimental funktions.
Comment 1 Volker Merschmann 2012-01-07 02:58:30 UTC
Where did you get that?
Pressing the help button leads me to http://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Options or its translated version. Nothing about formatting there. Same with an installed helppack.
Please be more precise.

(Addition: Please file one bug report per bug)

Settings in LOdev_general

You could see the difference between
- what says the help
- what shows the screen
in the german version (linux rpm)
Comment 5 Robert Großkopf 2012-01-07 03:50:27 UTC
I just see: the double-digit-year-dates are at the top of the help-window. This is wrong in my first post.

Thanks for bugreport
reproduced in 3.3.4 and 3.5.3 on Fedora 64 bit using English UI, local help
reproduced in 3.5.2 on Windows 32 bit using Russian UI, online help

Problem: button "Help" on dialog contains link to wrong page of help
(needed help page exist)

changing version to 3.3.4 as most early reproducible
Comment 9 Andras Timar 2012-06-23 13:02:50 UTC
@Sasha: this is not a bug. When you press the Help button or press F1, LibreOffice invokes the help with the help ID of the UI element that currently has the focus. Just try, press Tab to move the focus somewhere into the General dialog. The correct help page will come up for the Help button.

The real documentation bug here is that the help page is not accurate, it describes removed features and does not describe added features.

Thanks for fixing and for additional explanations
Indeed, after pressing Tab this button works. But this is highly unexpected by users, that help not working without Tab key.
