Description LJHeal 2011-12-28 12:44:46 UTC
When cells are shrunk or expanded (ctrl-scrollwheel) the effects are inverse, implying a measurement error. No attempt to diagnose this was made but it is very possible that the width of the box drawn around the cell is not being taken into account and that the bounds of the source is being used for measurement instead of the bounds of the destination.

If using drag-and-drop to bring data into a cell (the typical activity here is control-shift-drag a file in either Windows or gnome) then eventually the hot spot of the mouse and the cell the data are dropped into diverge.

This has been observed in the vertical dimension only - there has been no attempt to explore a similar artifact in the horizontal dimension.
