What is your OS ? Ubuntu ? In that case it is a known bug of the version provided by Ubuntu which has an incomplete French translation. See launchpad. If it is real problem for you, you can install the version provided by LibreOffice. Please, confirm your OS. Best regards. JBF You are absolutly right.
