Thanks for bugreport Please, verify if in last version of LibreOffice still reproducible I've been keeping up with the updates and have not been able to reproduce this lately. However, that's inconclusive as it was somewhat intermittent. Thanks for additional testing Due to last comment, changing status to WorksForMe If problem will appear again, please, change status to Reopened |
Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Run on Ubuntu 11.10 with Unity interface. 2. Create a template and configure it as the default for all new documents. 3. Close Writer completely. 4. Start Writer. Current behavior: The Writer window becomes disassociated with the Unity menu/toolbar. The Writer Unity toolbar icon has no "tick", and the Writer main menu does not appear. Clicking on the Unity Writer icon does nothing. It's impossible to use Writer because its main menu won't appear. Nor does its menubar appear, so it must be closed with Alt-F4. Expected behavior: It should work the same as it does with the standard default template. Changing the default template should not cause this behavior. NOTE: this bug happens only the first time Writer is started after changing the default template, and it only happens on Ubuntu with the Unity desktop interface. Also if you close Writer completely (using Alt-F4), then start it again, it works properly. Platform (if different from the browser): Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Ubuntu; X11; Linux i686; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0
