Hello, Just installed the beta 3 version. The bug is still there. Cheer I report same bug for LibO 3.5 release bug found on winXP 32 bit / linux x64 It's ok for row, but don't work anymore on columns... Thanx Nyko Hello, Just installed the final version of LIbO3.5.0. I confirm that the whole table is affected. Quite very annoying for me, for I use WRITER everyday and regularly I need to resize tables in my documents. Now I have to resize the tables manually, thus wasting time. Hope that this issue will get fixed very soon. Thanks for working on it. Bunty Confirmed on Windows, Libreoffice 3.5. However contrarily to the original poster I have no need to merge columns to make it happen, it happens for me on a "normal" table where nothing was ever merged. Created attachment 55035 [details] Illustrate steps Hello, I searched for this bug, I didn't find anything related to this problem. When I creat a table with several cells merged. When I want to optimise 2 columns sizes the whole table is affected. Steps to reproduce - Creat a table with 3 rowa and 8 columns - Merge some columns - Ajust some columns sizes - Select 2 rows and 2 columns - Click "Optimize" - "Distribute column Evenly" See attached file. Sorry, if ever, this issue is a duplicate. Thanks for working on it. Bunty
